He has graduated with honors in Economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. He then went on to complete his Law Degree (L.L.B) from Delhi University. He chose to practice as a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India having passed the examinations with distinction and being awarded the prestigious R. V. K. Umarjee Gold Medal in 1978. He holds a brilliant academic record.

Mr. Dinodia is one of the eminent professionals in India today. He is the Chairman of the Taxation Committee of the Federation Of Indian Chambers Of Commerce And Industry (FICCI), which facilitates interface with the Government of India and the Indian Industry to propel the economy for attaining higher standards of quality and excellence.
He is also the Vice Chairman of - International Fiscal Association, India Branch that actively brings together various professionals globally to keep abreast of the dynamics of the changing business environment worldwide.

He has read papers on varied topics of global concern such as “Treaty Shopping”, “Corporate Governance’, ‘The Transfer Pricing Regime’, ‘Taxation of Financial Derivates’, ‘Corporate Setups in India’, ‘Tax efficient structures in India’ etc in Seminars, Conferences and workshops held by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, The Ministry of Finance, Government of India; The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI); The International Fiscal Association, NIRC, The Confederation of Indian Industry, The Federation of Indian Chambers Of Commerce And Industry, The PHD in India and in all major business centers of the world such as London, Zurich, and Singapore etc. His papers and research has been published from time to time in various professional and academic publications.
